On November 29, 2025, Maoqi Culture brought the intangible cultural heritage (ICH) kingfisher feather craft to a cozy handcraft space in Canada, offering local craft enthusiasts an immersive experience of traditional Chinese culture.
At the event venue, grey walls and green plants formed a delightful backdrop. A long table was covered with a yellow wave-patterned tablecloth, where red and blue scissors, delicate tweezers, and imitation kingfisher feather materials were scattered like a vibrant artist’s palette. Participants leaned forward with full concentration, feeling the exquisite charm of the ICH craft with every stroke of their hands.

This event allowed the kingfisher feather craft to cross mountains and seas, shining with unique allure in a foreign land. In the process of focused creation, the boundaries between different cultures quietly melted away. Moving forward, Maoqi Culture will continue to promote international exchanges of intangible cultural heritage, enabling more people to appreciate the profound heritage of traditional Chinese handicrafts.
